Direct Rent Payment

This mandated or voluntary program works well for those who have a history of eviction and/or problems with utility payments, are required to have direct deposit, and cannot obtain or do not want a traditional bank account. Direct Rent helps stabilize the family by helping to provide consistent housing. This program can work along side financial counseling, court ordered child support and alimony programs, and DOC programs.

Clients using the Direct Rent program have peace of mind knowing their income is deposited in a secure account. Then we: 

  • Pay rent to landlord.
  • Pay vital utilities as required by lease.
  • Pay Renters insurance if required by lease.
  • Disburse remaining funds, one time, to a bank account or debit card

When you participate in Direct Rent you can expect:

  • A consistent and stable level of service from knowledgeable staff.
  • Speed and accuracy when processing changes to your account.
  • A commitment to providing this much needed service for years to come.

Who are our Organization and Community Partners? Emergency housing, Veterans and senior support services, mental health organizations, soup kitchens and shelters are among the community partners working with Support Management Solutions to help give hope to those who need it most.

How it Works:

Organizations are stronger and more effective when they work together. Supporting our partners and collaborating to prevent homelessness and strengthen families is part Support Management Solutions commitment to the communities we serve. 

Promote innovative approaches to a coordinated service delivery system that will bridge the gap between partner organizations so plans can be complete more efficiently.

Participate in family team conferences to contribute to decision-making about the needs, services, and safety plans appropriate to particular families’ circumstances.

Support existing services organizations and case managers with their goals of individual and family stabilization by sharing obtaining and sharing necessary information.

Advocate on behalf of the client Working with landlords, Social Security Administration representatives, and others whose relationships affect the client’s finances.

Provide financial literacy counseling to client groups and support teams.

Allow the Organization to Fund Services until client and family are stable to insure continues housing.

Bill Paying Services

As your Bill Paying Service, we can provide the following services to assist you in taking control of your financial needs.

  • ​Bill paying
  • ​Reconciling bank statements
  • ​Budgeting and cash flow management
  • ​Track income and expenses for budgeting and tax deduction reporting
  • ​Provide user-friendly financial reports
  • ​Interface with other professionals including your CPA, financial advisor and attorney

    In the event that you are no longer able to manage paying bills in a timely manner Support Management Solutions will provide assistance in paying bills and managing household funds.

    Are you or a loved one having difficulty managing your finances due to age or medical/mental illness? This program is tailored for your needs to maintain your independence.

  • Representative Payee Services

    With Representative Payee Services you will take comfort that all your financial needs are met. Services provided will help with your Independent living.
